MEGAMETA Base

Introduction

MEGAMETA Base is a documentation of principles, thoughts, and structures for a dance improvisation within the context of the development of the dance production MEGAMETA.

It is intended as a starter document from which ideas and approaches for a “New Improvisation” may emerge.

In the section Logics, we outline some of the core principles that emerged during our rehearsals and research. In Improvisation, we begin to formulate a summary of the most essential conditions of our approach and the relationships between them. The section Space presents the stages and spatial contexts used in the production MEGAMETA, which represents an initial outcome of our ongoing research.

Production

The dance production MEGAMETA will take place from May 15–17 at Wiese eG in Hamburg, Germany.
